Kendall is currently being fostered in South FL.Ĭhester is a 7 year old male Toller. Kendall is up to date on all her shots, is spayed, and heartworm neg. The foster is a female so we are not sure how she is with men. She is scared after all she has been through with losing her home, being picked up as a stray & going to shelter, so will need someone with who will be patient with her until she gets comfortable. She allows grooming, and appears to be housebroken but has not been left out of crate at the foster’s home when she is not home. She has only been introduced to female dogs over a gate. She is very sweet, crate trained, a good eater, and gets along with male dogs. She is around 2-3 yrs old, 20″ at shoulder, and weighs 43 lbs. Kendall – UPDATE – ADOPTED! Renamed Kindle!!ĭoes this look like a happy girl? You betcha!!? Kindle found her furever home and we’re so happy she did! If you are interested in Coco, please contact us. I enjoy being active and enjoy physical stimulation. I am potty trained, but have had a few accidents in the foster home. I travel ok in the car, but do pant a bit. Loud noises and fast movements also scare me right now, but if you talk sweetly to me when I am afraid, I will come right back to you and recover quickly. I am not sure how I am with cats, but would avoid them as I am afraid of small dogs. I would do best in a home without children and small dogs, as I am fearful of them. I am an early riser and wake up with lots of energy and enjoy morning walks. I am a little shy at first, but warm up very quickly. I am up to date on all my shots and I am heart worm negative. I am a 1 year old spayed female Toller who is currently being fostered in Texas. The first comment we received from Jess about Griffin was, “He is literally perfect” which thrilled us! They have worked with the trainer to understand his specific idiosyncrasies and he is doing well. Griffin has now gone to his new forever home in Lancaster Pennsylvania with Jess and Jeremy and his new tollerlike friend, Charlie. Unless altered, all male dogs should have two fully descended testicles. On his way to his new home! With his new pal Charlie! In his new yard!! Any departure from this description is considered a fault. Regular training and exercise is recommended for this breed, as pent up energy can manifest in behavioral issues later down the road.įaultsAll dogs should be in proper healthy condition, free from disease or defect. The dogs are loyal, sweet, and devoted to their people. If they are provided adequate training and exercise to combat their high-energy nature, he makes an excellent companion dog. Tollers are exceptional working dogs, and their keen intelligence allows them to take on far more tasks than tolling work. TemperamentFor the most part, the Toller keeps a good disposition but tends to “sulk” until he is permitted to do his favorite activity: work. Dogs that exhibit any sign of breathing or locomotive difficulty shall be disqualified from the show ring. The width between the forefeet when extended should be approximately equal to the width between the hindfeet when extended, indicating balance, good reach, and good drive. Good reach of movement in the front allows the forepaw to extend out in a line with the nose. From the side, the topline should remain firm and level. As speed increases, the forelimbs and hindlimbs will converge to the centerline of gravity. From the rear, the back pads should be visible when the rear legs are extended. When viewing movement from the front, the forelegs should remain parallel, with elbows and paws moving neither in nor out. Energetic, effortless, and efficient, the characteristics of healthy structure are evident: when moving away, the forelegs and rear pasterns should remain parallel to one another. MovementSmooth, flowing gait with graceful movements. Coat Color or Pattern: Orange-red with white markings.
